Lockheed SP-2H Neptune, N355MA Tanker 55 made a short visit to the Santa Barbara Air Attack Station.
Rogers Helicopters Rockwell Commander 690B, N700PQ serves as Air Attack 07, the lead plane to guide tankers into their runs over wildfires.
Tanker 55 departed for Durango, Colorado on Tuesday, September 20.
Tanker 55 took off at 10:26 A.M. on September 20.

Aerial tankers fought the Day Fire from the Santa Barbara Air Attack Station for ten days, from Monday, September 18 to Wednesday September 27. Three Lockheed P-2 Neptunes and four Lockheed P-3 Orions visited the Air Attack Station during the fire. This calendar includes a dozen photos of those tankers:
