Delta Airlines 767-232, N102DA Spirit of Delta was the first 767-200 operated by Delta and will be the last to be retired. In preparation for its retirement, it has been painted in the livery it wore in 1982. Spirit of Delta made a last tour of the United States before it is retired to a Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. It arrived at Los Angeles International Airport for the last time on February 27 in a major rain storm.
On the morning of February 28 the storm abated. I drove to LAX to photograph Spirit of Delta. N102DA made a local flight around Santa Catalina Island with a load of lucky passengers. It then departed for Boeing Field in Seattle, Washington.
While I was at LAX, I photographed dozens of airliners.

It has been operated by Midway Airlines, Express One International, and Spirit Airlines as N941ML. Aero California acquired it on November 16, 2000. QANTAS 747-438/ER, VH-OEJ Wunala Dreaming can be seen through the open hangar doors behind the DC-9.
American Airlines Boeing 737-823, N968AN flight AAL2442 to Dallas-Fort Worth. It carries construction number 30095. It was delivered to American on July 20, 2001.
Continental Airlines Boeing 737-824, N38268 flight COA394 to Houston. It carries construction number 31587. It was delivered to Continental on September 28, 2001.
Dassault Falcon 50. I can't see the registration and I can't find its departure on the tracking services.
Cathay Pacific Boeing 747-467, B-HOV. It carries construction number 25082. It was delivered to Cathay Pacific as VR-HOV on April 24, 1991.

It was delivered to Transwede as SE-DHG on August 4, 1988. It has been operated by Norway Airlines, Venus Airlines as SX-BAW, and Spanair as EC-GKF. AeroMexico acquired it on April 6, 2003.

El Al Boeing 767-27EER, 4X-EAE flight ELY106 to Ben-Gurion International Airport, Tel Aviv by way of Toronto, Canada. It carries construction number 24832. It was delivered to Aeromaritime as F-GHGD on July 26, 1990. It has been operated by Air France and Balkan Bulgar. El Al acquired it on February 12, 1999.
Air New Zealand Boeing 747-419, ZK-NBS. It carries construction number 24386. It was delivered to Air New Zealand on December 14, 1989. For its first thirteen months of service it was leased to Cathay Pacific.
