Northrop YF-17 Cobra 72-1569 at Edwards Air Force Base on November 13, 1977 YF-17 72-1570 was displayed in blue camouflage at the Edwards Air Force Base on November 13, 1977. The Air Force had decided against purchasing the F-17 and it was being marketed to the Navy. It was developed into the F/A-18 Hornet.

It was later displayed at the US NAval Aviation useum at Pensacola, Florida and the Western Museum of Flight at Torrance, California. It has since been transferred to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama.
