Commemorative Air Force The origin of the Commemorative Air Force dates back to 1951, with the purchase of a surplus Curtiss P-40 Warhawk. A short while later, the group added a P-51 Mustang and then a pair of F8F Bearcats. At this point, the mission of the CAF became clear: save an example of every aircraft that flew during WWII ~ a mission no one else was undertaking.

Planes of Fame Air Museum The Air Museum Planes of Fame at Chino, California was one of the first air museums in the United States, thanks to the foresight and dedication of one man, Ed Maloney. Due to the dedication of Mr. Maloney and many others, the aircraft in this museum have been beautifully restored and preserved for future generations. The collection you will find at The Air Museum is unique. It spans from the early gliders to more modern jets. Many of the aircraft in the collection are capable of flying and are flown regularly.

Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome is a living museum of antique aviation, located in Rhinebeck, New York. We present one of the largest collections of early aeroplanes in the world, and fly many of these historically significant aircraft in exciting airshows. The Aerodrome features aeroplanes, automobiles, motorcycles, early engines and memorabilia from 1900-1935. In addition to the airshows, there are four museum buildings displaying aircraft from the pioneer and pre-World War One era, World War One, and the Lindbergh and barnstorming era.
